RAHMI KOC MUSEUM

Rahmi Koç Museum, located on an area of ​​27 thousand square meters, was built by the Rahmi M. Foundation. The museum, which was opened in 1994, is the first museum in Turkey that was built with the idea of history of industry and transportation. It is divided into three parts as Rahmi Koç Museum Open Air Exhibition Area,Hasköy Shipyard and Mustafa Koç Building.

Where is Rahmi Koç Museum? How to go?

It is located on the shore of the Golden Horn in the Hasköy district of Istanbul.

You can come to Rahmi Koç Museum by many different public transports. You will reach the museum when you take one of the buses numbered 36T, 38T, 47, 47Ç, 47E, 54HŞ, 54HT and get off at the Red Minaret stop. If you wish, you can use minibus or metrobus instead of bus. If you want to come by minibus, you have to take the minibuses on the Şişhane – Alibeyköy route. If you want to come by metrobus, you can get off at Halıcıoğlu stop and reach the museum. If you want to take the sea air and go by ferry, you should take one of the ferries on the Üsküdar – Eminönü – Eyüp route and get off at Hasköy.

Restaurants in Rahmi Koç Museum:

There are 5 cafes inside. The cafe placed in a 1934 model Dodge truck is the Nostalgic Coca-Cola Truck Snackbar. As the name suggests, the cafe on the ferry is Fenerbahçe Ferry Cafe. The cafe you will see while entering the antique car showroom is the Teapot Cafe. All three cafes are closed on Mondays and are open from 10:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 18:00 on weekends.

The Nelson Pub is closed on Mondays. It is open between 18:00 and 01:30 on weekdays except Mondays. Halat Restaurant, where you can have great meals, is closed on Mondays. It is open every weekday from 10:00 to 22:00.

Visiting Hours and Entrance Fee of the Museum:

Rahmi Koç Museum is closed on Mondays. It is open every weekday except Monday from 10:00 in the morning to 17:30 in the evening. On weekends, it is open between 10:00 in the morning and 19:00 in the evening.

The entrance fee of the museum is 28 TL. The entrance fee for students is 12 TL. The entrance fee for the submarine in the museum is 14 TL, and the entrance fee for students is 10 TL. If you want to take a boat tour, the regular ticket is 14 TL and for students it is 10 TL.
