WATERFALLS IN ANTALYA

Antalya has many visitors coming from various parts of the world every year. It is a place worth spending the summer for, with its beaches and stylish venues, as well as waterfalls, canyons and countless natural beauties. We will tell you about the main waterfalls, one of the fascinating natural beauties of Antalya.

1-Upper Duden Waterfall

Düden Waterfalls, one of the most famous waterfalls of Antalya, is divided into two as upper and lower. Another name for the Upper Düden Waterfall, which is 10 km from the center of Antalya, is Iskender Waterfall. There is also an ancient city near the waterfall in the recreation area. The rock tombs belonging to the ancient city are found on the walls of the passages behind the Yukarı Düden Waterfall. There is an entrance fee for the Upper Düden Waterfall because the Müzekart is not valid.

2-Lower Duden Waterfall

After visiting the Upper Düden Waterfall, you should come to the Lower Düden, where you can take great photos. The Lower Düden Waterfall, where the Düden Stream joins the Mediterranean, is located among the high cliffs. You can reach the waterfall, which is not far from the city center, in about 20 minutes. Lower Düden Waterfall is also called Karpuzkaldıran Waterfall. It is also possible to see the waterfall from the opposite side with the boat tours around.

3-Kursunlu Waterfall

It is located on the road to Aksu district of Antalya. There are areas where you can walk around the waterfall located in a canyon. The reason why the waterfall, which flows from a height of 18 meters, is named as leaded, is that it flows down very steeply. This image was likened to lead and the waterfall was given this name. There’s an entrance fee.

4-Manavgat Waterfall

The waterfall formed by the Manavgat Stream is one of the symbols of Antalya. There is a recreation area around the waterfall, which is about 80 km away from the city center. You should see this waterfall, which is visited by tourists every year.

5-Sapadere Waterfall

It is located in Alanya district of Antalya. This name was given to the waterfall because it is located in Sapadere canyon. With its clean air and enchanting nature, both visiting the canyon and swimming under the coolness of the waterfall will definitely relax you and prepare you for the complexity of the city.

6-Değirmendere Waterfall

Located in the town of Manavgat, the waterfall is approximately 105 km from the city center. Değirmendere Waterfall is also called Hidden Paradise Waterfall. It was named Değirmendere because of an old mill that was previously located here. It is possible to have breakfast or drink tea and coffee in the facilities around it. You can also come across ducks and peacocks as you wander around. There is no entrance fee to Değirmendere Waterfall.

7- Uçansu Waterfall

It is 60 km away from the center of Antalya. Uçansu waterfall is divided into two as lower and upper Uçansu, just like Düden Waterfall. The most striking structure in Yukarı Uçansu Waterfall is the King’s Pool. It is the least visited of the waterfalls we have mentioned so far. The reason for this is that the road and transportation are difficult. But if you still have time and don’t like crowds, you should visit this natural beauty.
