Nurullah Bülbüller completed his General Surgery training at Fırat University Faculty of Medicine in 1998 He worked as a specialist and lecturer at the same university until 2009 Between 2009-2015, he started to work as clinical chief and chief physician at Antalya Training and Research Hospital. Later, he became a professor and started working at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine. During his time at Akdeniz University, he worked part-time at Lara Anadolu Hospital and performed many bariatric surgeries. Currently, he continues his

studies in Antalya Obesity Clinic in Lara Anadolu Hospital.

Since 2007, more than 8,000 surgeries have been performed by Dr. Bulbuller in the field of obesity and metabolic surgery.Sleeve gastrectomy, roux-en-y gastric bypass, mini- gastric bypass and transit bipartition are the surgical applications that are frequently applied by him.

He is a member of IFSO (International Federation of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders Surgery), TOSS (Turkish Bariatric Surgery Association). He has served as a speaker and session chair in many national congresses in the field of obesity and metabolic surgery.

His areas of interest include advanced laparoscopic surgery, obesity and diabetes surgery, breast and gastrointestinal system cancer surgery, and robotic surgery.

He frequently performs paroscopically and robotically; obesity and diabetes surgery, reflux and hiatal hernia, hernia, splenectomy, surrenalectomy, colon and rectum cancers, liver hydatid surgery and appendectomy surgeries.

Non-surgical treatment methods of hemorrhoids, fissures and ingrown hair (pilonidal sinus) diseases that he does daily are popular applications.

Especially in obesity surgery (sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass), he has a large and successful series with over 4000 cases in Antalya. With the training he received, he has the certificate of using the Da Vinci robot and performs these surgeries robotically.
