Assoc. Dr. Hasan ERDEM

General Surgery Specialist – Obesity & Metabolic Surgery

Born in 1976 in Hatay, Dr. Hasan Erdem entered Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and graduated
as a Medical Doctor in 2002. Then, he started his specialization at Istanbul Bezmialem Vakıf Gureba
Training and Research Hospital General Surgery Clinic and became a General Surgery Specialist in
2008.

After his compulsory service at Elbistan State Hospital between 2009 and 2011, he worked as a
General Surgery Assistant at Adana Numune Training and Research Hospital; where he carried out
studies in the fields of Advanced Laparoscopy and Robotic Surgery.

He left his job there in 2016 and established a private clinic in Istanbul. He is still working in this
clinic.

He received the title of Associate Professor on 27.08.2018.

Almost 100 national and international articles of Associate Professor Hasan Erdem have been
published in various journals and he still continues his academic studies.
