He studied medicine at Karadeniz Technical University . He became a General Surgeon Specialist in 2008 . He served as a General Surgery Specialist at Karşıyaka State Hospital between the years of 2000 -2015
Meanwhile, new and advanced surgeries such as esophageal cancer, obesity and laparoscopic colon surgeries were performed by him for the first time at Karşıyaka State Hospital.
He has published 19 international and 17 national scientific studies in his field. He has won awards in many international and national scientific competitions, and also patented his own invention, a Laparoscopic surgical
instrument, for which he won an award. He was successful in the exam organized by the Turkish Surgical Society in 2008 and received a Certificate of Proficiency in Surgery. In 2010, he started to do endoscopy
by taking Endoscopy training. He is a member of Turkish Surgery Association, Turkish Colon and Rectum Surgery Association, Aegean Region Surgery Association, Izmir Medical Chamber.
